Event: GI-D Away Day
Venue : Club Med Cherating, Pahang
Duration: 26 Oct - 28 Oct 2007
Cost : Free..hehehehe
This year, our department annual away day was arranged to be at Cherating, Pahang. The whole Club Med was closed as it was booked wholly for our department which ranged around 600+ pax.
The choices of transportation are freely determined by participant but the co's official transport was Plusliner bus. Quite comfy but I have not been travelling by bus for such a long time so feeling a bit dizzy that day.
I was placed with my two other friends in a err...cute room you can say (as in small laa) for 3 persons.Anyway, just for a place to snooze so no problem.
The food was so so even there are varieties of choices from local until international cuisines but to dine in for 3 consecutive days....  ..ugh....
What I enjoyed the most there was the activities. The team challenge was really fun!

This year is my first anticipation in the Tech Ed. Thank you to my Team Lead, Chee Lung who included me inside the particpant list. Going on my own not with company sponsorship..kirim salam je la...
It was a good experience..I love the Exhibition hall the most..hahahahha..Lotsa freebies...Jason and I were targetting on the Ipod Nano but tough luck.. 
Neways, the agendas all quite interesting but nothing much new except for developers. Hands on lab is quite interesting as it is the only session that will actually not encouraged you to dozed off..hahahahhaha
All and all..good experience!

It was an interesting dinner and with a  unbelievable auctions...kaching! It was my first time to step in the Grand Ballroom.The theme was All That's Jazz and we were partly in the 60s 80s era..belasah je lah.
Anyways, I had a great time there with the super friendly dude and duddetes of Appcompat team and also with my companion that night

Went to Pangkor wif IBM colleagues. It was my first time there and the trip was nice though it is a short one! The budget was very small too but anyway it was nice that at least you already get to know Pangkor for first timer like me 
Those bunch of people who were inside the trip also has made the trip more interesting 
As this entry was wayyy back in April and now it's already September I could not recall much the apartment that we were staying but it was a nice one.

Trip To Jakarta

Got free tickets for two...went there with mum and my brother. It was a tiring trip but then enjoyable.
Weather, I like Malaysia better.
Traffics and way of driving, it was horror so I can say Malaysians are still considerate drivers.
Food, it was nice to taste few types of Indonesian food e.g Sunda food.
Tour guide, Andy was a nice guy and very entertaining too...
Overall trip is OK
